Each session finishes with an activity or online book to draw together and apply your child's learning to a real text by blending their Speed Sounds into words and spotting and reading Tricky Words.

No tricks, no words that don't follow the rules - all the words can be read using your child's existing phonic knowledge so that they can feel successful!

Read as much or as little of the book or activity as your child can manage in about 10 minutes - the longer books in later units may take all four sessions to complete. Of course as your child gets quicker, books can be re-read - practise builds confidence!

Spend about 10 minutes per day practising reading.
